The Moon Is Made Of Cheese
The Moon Is Made Of Cheese is a title sequence for a hypothetical sci-fi comedy sitcom. It features a remix of "The Mountain" by Podington Bear from the Free Music Archive.
The 2D animations are influenced by the physics of surrealism to create a sense of playfulness and curiosity through lively and bouncy movements. Using contrasting colours,
a hand-drawn style, and visual juxtapositions, the sequence plays with reflections, shadows and mirrors to express the character's supernatural abilities.
Each part of the animation represents a piece of the character's journey, which is differentiated by the colour palette, and concludes with the notion of balance and discovery by turning the moon into cheese.
