LI HSIN CHANG
Hello, this is Maggie – The part I enjoy the most about my study was easily everyday pre-covid. However, our teachers stayed engaged and supportive (thank you!); I manage to retain friendship and make new connection during my senior year in lockdown. Aside from being a hobbyist photographer with a strong focus on the human body, I specialise in generating visuals for design and film & video production using Adobe Suite and 3D tools. I also have experiences working with production and editing in various film companies. Recently picked up Unreal Engine and am keen to work with virtual production in the future.

Breakfast Banana
"What's your favourite thing to eat for breakfast?" (“Eat your breakfast like a king.” as the titular proverb goes. I supposed, bananas serve as a rightful queen in this sense?) I implanted a personal interpretation of female body image and its association with bananas. Colour grading for a warmer film looks to add a pinch of softness and sensual feelings for the eyes. The sound elements in the background, on the other hand, hint at a morning routine from leaving the bed to enjoy the first bite of the meal. Breakfast Banana (2020), video art, coloured, 1 minute 38 seconds, directed and filmed by Li Hsin CHANG

Type: Video
